A New York man who authorities say wore a Marine uniform to a county fair faces impersonation charges in two towns. State police say 47-year-old Michael Schrenk of the Buffalo suburb of West Seneca wore the staff sergeant uniform to the August Erie County Fair on Veterans Appreciation Day, when military personnel got in to the Hamburg venue for free.

WEST SENECA, N.Y. New York State Police have arrested a West Seneca man who, they say, has been pretending to be a police officer as well as a Marine. Authorities say Michael R. Schrenk, 47, impersonated a United States Department of Defense Uniformed Police Officer in the Towns of Eden and West Seneca, while wearing a full uniform.
